Nice, à l'enseigne de Sefer, chez Joseph Pardo, 1963. 2 volumes in one folio, edition illustrated by Jean Gradassi with an ornate title and 10 color plates, one of which is double-page, and by Ansaldi with a rich color frame enhanced with gold on each page of text, decorated with interlacing lianas and brambles on a colored background, hunting and venery scenes, roosters, dogs, wild boars and deer massacres, in the taste of medieval illuminations. Limited edition of 1167 numbered copies, this one n°439, one of 1130 on Rives vellum pur fil B.F.K. Publisher's full vellum binding, decorated with a composition of a bow hunter blowing a horn over a boar by Ansaldi, framed in foliage, central medallion on the second plate, gilded clasps, smooth spine, in a slipcase. Copy enriched with an original watercolor signed by Ansaldi of a horsewoman with a falcon. Complete with warranty certificate.
