Pierre PETIT (1831-1909, 27-29 & 31 Place Cadet Paris). Set of ten albumin prints mounted on cardboard. Circa 1889. Subjects: 1889 Exposition Universelle, Paris, the Eiffel Tower, Esplanade des Invalides, Portugal and Food Pavilion, general view from Trocadero, monumental fountain on the Champs de Mars by Contan, Palais des Colonies, Central Dome, etc. On most prints, numbers, captions, titles and 'N.D. Phot. On fronts of mounts, Pierre Petit and address. Average size of visuals approx. 27 x 21.5 cm. Average size of mounts approx. 40 x 31.5 cm. Prints with marks, holes and/or tears. The mounts are very damaged and missing.
