Wahhabi sabikiou jambiyya dagger, Arabian Peninsula, 20th century Dagger with long, slightly curved, double-edged steel blade, engraved from the heel with a geometric frieze. The curved wooden handle is sheathed on the front with a silver plate, on the back with a copper plate and riveted with three silver studs forming cabochons surrounded by spiral motifs. Wooden scabbard sheathed with metal plates, partly in silver and brass with chased decoration, and a piece of brown leather attaching it to a leather belt embossed with geometric decoration and partly studded with silver. L. without scabbard: 49.2 cm; L. with scabbard: 55 cm Accents, rust and scratches on the blade, damaged scabbard, fragmentary belt.
