NB: LE MURF (Mouvement Unifié de la Renaissance Francaise) is a left-wing political party created in 1945, bringing together the Front National de Lutte pour la Libération et l'Indépendance de la France (FN) and a minority of the Mouvement de la Libération Nationale (MLN). Candidates were put forward in the 1945 and 1946 elections, before disappearing to make way for the revival of more traditional political parties not born of the Resistance.
