A truncated cone-shaped silver (950) Chocolatière with applied and chased decoration on the lower part of the bowl, featuring friezes of heart-shaped stripes, vine branches, palmettes, foliage and a laurel wreath. The covered spout is underlined by a palmette and ribbon garland. The lid is decorated with a frétel stylizing a burst acanthus seed. Turned wood side handle. Empire style, late 19th - early 20th century Title: Minerve 1er titre (1838-1973), Bigorne hallmark, Goldsmith's hallmark: HL different Soup spoon framed by two crescent moons (Henri Lapeyre 1895-1923) Gross weight: 468 gr H. 18.5 cm Handle to be reattached
