A truncated cone-shaped silver (950) Chocolatière with applied and chased decoration on the lower part of the bowl, featuring friezes of heart-shaped stripes, vine branches, palmettes, foliage and a laurel wreath. The covered spout is underlined by a palmette and ribbon garland. The lid is decorated with a frétel stylizing a burst acanthus seed. Turned wood side handle.
