Silver tea service (950), goldsmith Ernest CARDEILHAC. Paris, late 19th century. Model with foliage and masks dated 1889, handles in silver or ivory, comprising : a teapot, a sugar bowl and its lid, a milk jug, a kettle, its stove and its lamp. Minerve hallmark. Gross weight: 4K 758g. In silver-plated metal, a rectangular tray with contoured handles, engraved with a coat of arms surmounted by a helmet with the inscription: "Par la Foi" and dated 1889. Length with handles: 86.5 cm - Width: 54.5 cm Sugar bowl signed CARDEILHAC, without the goldsmith's hallmark. (accidents) Presented to Mounet Sully, actor with the Comédie Française, on the occasion of the premiere of Oedipe Roi. Two pass-teas are included, one in silver (950), weight: 20.17 g; the second in silver-plated metal by Christofle.
