CREIL MONTEREAU Suite of three earthenware talking plates from the "Retour des cendres de l'Empereur Napoléon Ier" series, with polychrome decoration and titled "N°7 Marche funèbres dans les Champs Elysées" (tiny chip to rim) - "N°9 Arrivée du cortège aux Invalides" (chip to rim) - "N°11 Réception du corps de Napoléon à l'Hôtel des Invalides dans la cour royale" (chip to rim). The border decorated with eagles with spread wings holding laurel wreaths. Manufacturer's marks "LEBEUF MILLIET & Cie". Diam. 20.7 cm Two talking plates, one titled "F.P. DUC D'ORLEANS PRINCE ROYAL. Né à Palerme le 3 Septembre 1810, mort à Neuilly le 13 Juillet 1842" and the other, "N°7 F.P. duc d'Orléans prince royal aux Portes-de-Fer. AFRIQUE. (1839).
