Obverse: three-quarter bust of General de Gaulle in the center of a compass rose, reading "JUIN 1980 - 18 JUIN 1940", sd Georges Guiraud. Reverse: the Arc de Triomphe above a Lorraine cross reading "8 - MAI - 1945", surrounded by twelve swords, with the inscriptions "FFL - FFC" between the sleeves. In its Monnaie de Paris case. Diameter: 72 mm.
