TRIAL OF LOUIS XVI. Collection of 322 pieces bound in 8 volumes in-8, fawn half-calf, ornate spine, red parts, red edges (Binding circa 1820). The first six volumes contain the opinions of the members of the Convention (294 pieces); the next contains the reports of Boissy d'Anglas (on freedom of worship, draft constitution), Marie-Joseph Chénier, Tallien, Barras (26 pieces, including 2 handwritten tables of the number of deputies to be elected for each department); the last volume contains the collections of supporting documents for the act announcing Louis Capet's crimes (first and second inventories). Several spines split.
