BLANCHERON Etienne Jean Louis Bisque clock depicting the allegory of love, the dial rests on an oval base. Late 18th, early 19th century. Old restorations to the base, missing parts, small accidents and elements to be refixed. Note: a hard-paste porcelain factory founded on rue de Crussol in Paris by an Englishman, Christopher Potter, in 1790, was sold in 1793 to Etienne Jean Louis Blancheron, who had been its director since its creation. Following this sale, the company moved to rue des Trois Bornes in 1798, where it went bankrupt in 1802.
