Sacha GUITRY (1885-1957). L.A.S. "Sacha", Saturday morning, to his father Lucien GUITRY; 2 pages in-4. Beautiful letter to his father, away on tour in Brussels. His play had gone down well the day before: the audience had been "pleasantly surprised and charmed by what is (perhaps) fresh in my play". He thanks his father for his gift, a moving autograph, "like a word from beyond"... He is saddened by his father's absence, begging him to spare his health, and assures him of his love....
