Origînal and fîn Tabriz ( north-western Iran ) 1 st part of the 20th century. Prayer form. Dimensions ? Technical features : velvet in lambswool, warp, weft and bangs in cotton. Density: approx. 8000/8500 knots per dm2. Observations : very fine prayer rug with very original decor. Good general condition, light wear and soiling.
Desciption : a Decor of three stylized mirhabs forming three niches and doors to heaven inlaid with flasks , candlesticks , hanging oil lamps , scrolls and diamond-shaped garlands of flowers in pastel tones .triple borders of which the main one is navy blue a Decor of poetic inscriptions relating God , and morality on life and death.
