The most important monograph devoted to French bookbinding, illustrated with over 250 black and color plates. This copy bears a signed letter from Alain Devauchelle, the author's son, who has enriched it with a color photograph and the diploma of the (gold) medal of artisanal recognition awarded to his father in November 1989.
