First edition.
The Pont Louis XVI, now known as the Pont de la Concorde, was built between 1787 and 1791 by Jean-Rodolphe Perronet (1708-1794), a civil engineer and great architect of his time.
Mounted plate added at the beginning of the volume, containing a perspective view of the bridge and a general plan of the Place de Louis XV and its surroundings. Also bound between pp. 114 and 115 is the Arrêté interprétatif du Bureau de la ville concernant l'article 212 (one printed page).
