First collective edition of the Mémoires de Chamousset (1717-1773), the philanthropist who first came up with the idea of medical mutual aid associations, i.e. our current social security system.
These two parts contain the plan for the association's house and the political memoir on children; in a memoir devoted to foundlings, the author outlines a plan to reduce their mortality rate and improve their lot, primarily by using them for the colonization of Louisiana.
