RUSSIAN PATIENT OF THE LATE 19th CENTURY. Portrait of Tsar Alexander III of Russia surrounded by his family. Pyrography on wood, decorated at each corner with the imperial eagle of the Romanoffs. Wooden element coming from a square pedestal table. Missing its base. Slight wear and tear. H. 42,5 cm - L. 40 cm. History : the representation illustrating our tray was made after a photographic portrait representing the emperor Alexander III and his family in 1888, and offered by the tsar Alexander III (1845-1894), to his cousin, the grand duchess Olga Constantinovna of Russia, queen of Greece.
