Engraved and chased bronze basin with silver inlays resting on three clawed legs. Body decorated with foliage scrolls and cartouches flanked by griffins, one adorned with a lion, the other with a putto mounted on a sea horse; neck with frieze of foliage scrolls interrupted by two griffins facing each other on either side of a finial; grips in the form of harpies with bifid tails, foliated and curled. Northern Italy, 19th century in the Renaissance style Height : 24,5 cm - Width : 31,5 cm
