SEVRES Plate called Egyptian service, with a bistre cameo decoration in the center of a view of the ruins of one of the temples of Elephantine, after Jacques-François-Joseph Swebach. The marli decorated with a frieze of gold hieroglyphs on a blue background. Titled on the reverse, green stamp (after Georges Mathieu): SEVRES 88 (1988) and red: Manufacture Nationale doré à Sèvres AW. Reissue of the Manufacture de Sèvres. Diameter: 24.30 cm Provenance : retirement gift from an employee of the Manufacture, by succession.
