Adrien LAMOURETTE (1742-guillotiné 1794) priest, constitutional bishop of Lyon, deputy to the Legislative Assembly where he proposed in July 1792 the famous call to concord called "Baiser Lamourette". P.S. with autograph apostille, Paris May 12, 1789; 2 1/2 pages in-4. Transaction between Lamourette, "priest doctor in theology director of the abbey of Ste Perinne de Chaillot", and the printer Claude SIMON to settle their dispute. Lamourette gives up to Simon all the copies of his two works Pensées sur la philosophie de l'incrédulité and Considérations sur la vie religieuse. Rare.
