Protest against his eviction from the Longueville Hotel (functional housing as controller of the tobacco farm): "the bailiff of the Longueville Hotel had served me with a notice to vacate the premises on January 1 of this year. He will wait however that summons is made to him to leave the places: "I will obey justice to avoid any violence on my person [...] I will make a legal protest which will release me from any responsibility since I will make relate there the letters which I had the honor to write to you and that I will make note that I did not have any answer of your share".
