Charles de LAMETH (1757-1832) general and politician. P.S. as President of the National Assembly, co-signed by 6 deputies, Paris July 8, 1791; 1 page in-fol. partly printed, engraved vignette of the National Assembly, La Loi et le Roi, red wax seal. Certificate of oath for the commissioner of the wars Capet, who took the oath during the session of June 27, in the new form, in these terms: "I swear to use the weapons given in my hands to the defense of the Fatherland [...]; I swear to die rather than to suffer the invasion of the French territory by the foreign troops"...In addition to Lameth, the deputies signed Ph. Augier, Creuzé-Latouche, Fricaud, Le Carlier, Merle and Vadier.
