He proposes a project of civil legislation, "fruit of a great number of years of research and meditations"... - 28 ventôse II (March 28, 1794), protesting against the arrest of his printer, "irreproachable on his civism and his revolutionary conduct"... Attached is a moving l.a.s. from his widow to Mme Duplessis (mother of Lucile Desmoulins); plus a P.S. from Philippeaux, 18 brumaire II (November 8, 1793, on the letterhead of the National Convention).
