Jean-François LOISEAU (1751-1809) conventioneer (Eure-et-Loir), he was in charge of many missions. 25 L.A.S., L.S. or P.S., November 1794-August 1795; 31 pages in-fol. or in-4, printed headers and vignettes. Important set of documents on his mission to ensure the supply of Paris: organization of the harvests and threshing in Provins, appeals to the districts ("Paris only wants bread to answer to you for liberty"), requisitions, organization of transportation, difficulties due to bad weather, repression and arrest of recalcitrant farmers and malicious officials; he prefers a reduction of one third of the bread vouchers rather than an increase in price; repression of fraud; protection of transportation, etc. These documents concern the Ile de France, and more particularly Provins, the district of Melun, Jouy le Chatel, Dreux, Etampes, etc. 3 printed documents (including his opinion in the trial of Louis XVI), and various documents concerning Loiseau are attached.
