L.S., Paris 11 messidor II (June 30, 1794), to the members of the Civil Committee of the Section of Montblanc; 1 page in-4, letterhead and vignette of the Paris Commune, address on the back (crack repaired). Victory of Fleurus (June 26). "A complete victory has been won by the brave soldiers of the Republic over the satellites of the Despots. The National Convention has decreed that there will be tonight at the Jardin National a celebration for the people"... At the head of the letter, one noted: "received at 7 o'clock in the evening. Proclamation at the moment of the reception with four drums, national festival brilliant victory"... We enclose a picture of Epinal, Battle of Fleurus (Fabrique Pellerin, folds).
