JAPAN - MEIJI period (1868 - 1912) Wooden panel decorated with gold lacquer, nashiji and inlays of stained and natural bone, mother-of-pearl, of a frog playing a flute in the moonlight at the edge of a brook strewn with stems of flowers and leaves, a toad heading towards it with a stick (Missing inlays). Size at sight 23 x 23 cm. Framed.
