JAPAN, Imari - MEIJI period (1868-1912) Two large round porcelain dishes decorated in blue underglaze, iron red and polychrome enamels with a stylized flower in the center surrounded by reserves decorated with pine trees and phoenixes alternating for one, the other decorated with three stylized winter friends forming a medallion surrounded by phoenixes among flowers and bamboo. Diam. 41 and 40 cm.
