Fragment of a minai ceramic Siliceous paste with small-fire decoration called minai, in polychrome on beige slip Iran, 12th-13th century, Seljuq period Dimensions This small ceramic fragment was the central part (and foot) of a bowl with figurative minai decoration, typical of Persian Seljuq production in the 12th-13th centuries. It is decorated in polychrome with figures and floral motifs. Under the base, a collection label reads 'No 24', next to an inscription in Arabic script.
