In the 1960s and 1970s, his workshop worked for the greatest names in French jewellery: Boucheron, Mauboussin, FRED, M. Gérard, Van Cleef & Arpels. His style, especially in the work of gold, is often recognizable at first glance. In 1967, Van Cleef & Arpels collaborated with Vassort to create one of the most prestigious pieces of jewellery of the 20th century: the coronation crown of the Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi of Iran. The workshop produced high quality pieces until its closure in the early 1990s. Thanks to Claire-Laurence Mestrallet
