SPORTS - JEAN BOUIN, circa 1913 Club Athlétique de la Société Générale, circa 1913 Folded fan, a sheet of paper printed with three photographic views, with the famous sportsman Jean Bouin, representing the French national team, from the Club Athlétique de la Société Générale, passing an obstacle on the Juvisy airfield for the Five Nations Cross, according to the Rol Agency cliche. Autograph of the sportsman, in pencil on the central photo, "Bouin". Mention "Marly on May 4, 1913". "Pernot fan". Wooden frame painted white. H.t. 22 cm (worn) Provenance: former collection of Michel Maignan. This fan was presented at the exhibition "L'éventail à tous vents du XVIe au XXe siècle", Paris, Le Louvre des Antiquaires, 1989, cat. 193.
