Original edition of this important atlas in the history of the road maps, illustrated with 3 engraved titles, a dedication double-page engraved, and 56 coloured cards showing the condition of the of the road network before the Revolution. It consists of three main parts, each with a title special engraving : - DESNOS. Analytical table of France. Paris, Desnos, 1766. Title and 33 maps. - RIZZI-ZANNONI. Le Petit Neptune François or Coastal Map of this kingdom. Paris, Desnos, 1766. Title and 4 maps. - MICHEL. L'Indicateur fidèle, or Guide des Voyageurs... Paris, 1765. Title, dedication and 19 maps. The Prospectus (6 pages) was bound at the end, with the catalogue alphabetical list of royal and private roads, as well as an alphabetical list of Alphabetical Catalogue of the 1380 Cities and Roads Supplement from France (10 pages). Beautiful copy, bound in 18th century imitation.
