NOAILLES (Countess of). The Innumerable Heart. Paris, [Daragnès],1931. In-4, green morocco, plates and back decorated with a semé of alternately pink and yellow mosaic roses, cold foliage, standing out on a latticework drawn by a double golden net, interior frame with recall of the decoration, lining and guards of gilded rep, gilded edges, half morocco shirt, case (G. Crettésucc. de Marius Michel). 28 pastels by the author, woodcut in colors by Daragnès. Edition of 68 copies to which a complete suite of woodcuts of one of the illustrations (in 32 plates) has been attached, in this copy the one on the cover. Beautiful binding by Cretté (cf. Garrigou). Nominative copy for Laurent Meeus. An extract n° 1 of the Feuillets d'Art (1919) containing an unpublished copy of the Countess de Noailles illustrated with 2 woods by Raoul Dufy, and a portrait of the Countess de Noailles and a postcard of her daughter.
