OFFICIAL TRIP OF CZAR NICOLAS II (1868-1918) TO FRANCE. Autograph letter signed "Guy de Beaupré", addressed to his grandfather, Gustave de Reiset (1821-1905), dated October 10, 1896, 3 pages, folio, text in French. Interesting letter in which the author evokes the great moments of the visit of the tsar to Paris from 5 to 9 October 1896. A birth announcement in the name of Guy de Beaupré, dated October 13, 1885, is attached. Text: "Voyage du tsar Nicolas II en France, October 5, 1896. The second day was used to lay the foundation stone of a bridge which will be named after Alexander III in memory of the father of the present sovereign. The Emperor and the Empress visited this beautiful palace of Versailles, built under the glorious reign of Loui
