René LALIQUE (1860–1945) “Four Moths” square brooch, a design created around 1912. A piece made of white molded pressed glass with a matte and glossy satin finish, set in a brass mount (one chip in the decoration). Signed on the setting and bearing a square silversmith’s hallmark. 3 x 3 cm History: listed in the 1928 catalog, removed from the catalog in 1932, and not re-listed after 1947.
