Reverse: an eagle soaring over the Atlantic Ocean, represented by waves between France and South America. Below is a quote from Mermoz: AVIATION, THE IDEAL LINK,/REMOVES THE NATURAL BARRIER THAT/FOR SO LONG PREVENTED PEOPLES/OF THE SAME LATIN RACE/FROM RECOGNIZING ONE ANOTHER. Diameter: 68 mm. - Obverse: East-to-West crossing of the North Atlantic by Costes and Bellonte; the aviators’ busts in left profile, with a signature below. Reverse: an airplane flying over the Atlantic Ocean; the flight depicted and dated between France and North America. Below: HISPANO-SUIZA / TO THE ARCHITECTS OF VICTORY / SEPTEMBER ? 1930. Diameter: 50 mm. - AIR FRANCE: two shrimp facing away from each other, designed by P. Poisson.
