SÈVRES & Henri PATOU (active 1922–1942), designer of decorative motifs. “Aubert No. 4” vase in new hard porcelain, with a globular body resting on a short, straight foot and a straight neck with a flanged lip, featuring a polychrome decoration in blue and brown of a peacock figure against a background of flowers and leaves in the Art Deco style. Good condition. Sèvres National Manufactory, 1923. Manufacturing and decoration marks dated “1923” in black stamp on the reverse; signed in blue on the reverse “HL. d’après Mr. H. Patou” for the decorator Henri-Joseph Lasserre (active 1883–1930). H. 22.5 cm.
