Vidocq submits conclusions concerning a milkmaid, widow of gardener Louis Emery Pierre Delouche, Vidocq's debtor; he calls for the settlement of a debt dating back four years and will wait "the moral time of your reply, but no longer"; a mysterious bill follows: "I am assured that this ink is indelible. It would be doing me a great favor to remove it if possible [...]".
