DUMAS, Alexandre (1802-1870). Set of two large fragmentary autograph manuscripts. S.l.n.d. 3 large leaves in folio. Some defects. Fine working documents by Dumas, in dense handwriting, with erasures, additions and corrections. The first autograph manuscript, on white paper, is paginated "1" and "2" at the head. The second manuscript on paper is numbered 38. Three further pages on the same subject, in a secretary's handwriting, are attached, paginated 40, 41 and 42. On the verso of this second manuscript is a long list of aristocratic names, in alphabetical order for the letters H, G, L and M.
