French school of the late 17th or early 18th century Bust of a young boy carved in marble Depicted dressed in antique style, the garment trimmed with a Bérain-style frieze, resting on a pedestal on a square base. Total height: 57 cm; length: 35 cm. Inscription " Pagnou / 40 " and a label from an old collector's inventory on the reverse. Restored nose, fastening mortise on reverse; and a few small holes on the surface.
