Lid depicting Diana and her nymphs surprised in the bath by Actaeon, background decorated with Actaeon's death, side panels decorated with landscapes featuring crenellated houses. Circa 1700 H. 4 cm - W. 8.8 cm - D. 6.5 cm (breaks and restorations) The Victoria & Albert Museum holds a cameo of similar dimensions, probably from a similar snuffbox, depicting the Sacrifice of Isaac (inv. A.18-1937).
