CHINA - KANGXI period (1662 - 1722) - Lot 82
CHINA - KANGXI period (1662 - 1722) Porcelain dish decorated in blue underglaze and "doucai" polychrome enamels (contrasting colors) with a pomegranate tree, the fall decorated with branches of pomegranate, plum and vine. The exterior is decorated with peach branches. On the reverse, the Chenghua apocryphal mark (chipping). 16 cm in diameter Provenance : Collection of Monsieur Moïse Barbaud, then by inheritance. Mr. Moïse Barbaud, an enlightened collector and banker in South America and Hanoi, brought back numerous objects, furniture and paintings from his travels.
