Manceaux in Paris. Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. Brass mounting. Oval cap with laurel wreath, round jointing bow and small hilt branch, curved quillon. Wooden buttstock covered with watermarked leather. Curved blade with engraved groove, gilded and one-third blued, oxidation. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Mantle engraved "Manceaux Rue Lenoir St Honoré 4 Paris". Total length 87 cm. France, Restoration period. A fancy lanyard is included.
