Fin Kashmir India Wool and silk Circa 1980/85 Décor reminiscent of the famous Ardebil rug, exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum Dimensions 118 x 080 cm Wool velvet, flowers surrounded by silk on cotton foundations Beautiful finesse Good condition Midnight-blue field decorated with a mosaic of stylized diamond-shaped palmettes adorned with a central rosette with a floral crown, surrounded by two symmetrical stylized oil lamps. Four spandrels with motifs echoing the central medallion. Midnight-blue border decorated with rows of floral cartouches.
