Model 1882 infantry officer's saber. Mounted in nickel silver and horn. Long-tail cap assembled in the ferrule, three-prong guard on joint arch (deformations) and horn spindle, watermarked (accidents). Grooved straight blade. Nickel-plated iron scabbard with one strap. Missing ferrule. Includes part of a campaign in its leather sheath. Total length 103.5cm. France, Third Republic period. A remnant lanyard is attached.
