British naval blunderbuss rifle with thrown bayonet. Flat-body flintlock lock with swan-neck hammer (safety removed). Double-register blunderbuss barrel with reinforcing ball at the muzzle. Birmingham thunder hallmarks and remaining signature on upper barrel. Walnut stock, all brass fittings. Launched bayonet with release system behind the breech. Good mechanics. Overall length: 76 cm. English made circa 1780. Category D weapon.
