Silver confiturier (950) stylizing a Medici vase with openwork decoration of water-leaf friezes, gadroons and palmettes. The handles are formed by foliate scrolls ending in birds beaking each other. The lid is encircled by a frieze of pearls and topped by a burst seed forming a fretel on a bed of radiating gadroons. Square base with doucines resting on four ball feet. Blue glass interior.
