Late 18th century hunting rifle - Lot 36
Late 18th century hunting rifle with double damascus steel table barrel and double register with flats and rounds. Thunder-stamped by Leclerc. Double lock with round body and swan-neck hammer. Carved walnut stock decorated with trophies, squared and inlaid with silver fillets. All chased iron fittings. Oxidation, minor accidents, mechanical damage. Total length: 125 cm. Made in Saint-Etienne during the Consulat Premier Empire period. Category D weapon.
