Brigadier general's sword. Chased and gilded bronze mounting. Pommel and joiner's bow decorated with thunderbolts, plate decorated with a laurel wreath on a background of six pennants and folding counterplate. Horn spindle with alternating double filigree. Blade engraved "Manufacture Nationale d'Armes de Châtellerault Juin 1921" and "épée à ciselures". Leather scabbard with two brass fittings, clevis knobs with embossed and latticed helmet. Blade length: 75 cm; overall length: 91 cm France, Third Republic period Carrying case included. Oxidation
