Edmond TETARD Crystal ewer cut with twisted ribs and flowering branches, set in silver (950) with chased and repoussé decoration of latticework and foliage reserves, garlands of ribbons, flowering vases, etc. The lid is topped with a fretel stylizing a bouquet. France, late 19th century Title: Minerve 1er titre (1838-1973), Goldsmith: ED.T différent Huguenotte Gross weight: 1012 gr H. 32 cm Edmond Tétard founded his goldsmith's business in 1880. He mainly produced pieces in the Louis XV style. He won a gold medal at the 1889 Universal Exhibition. His three sons took over the company in 1903, naming it "Tétard Frères".
