Louis XVI style three-piece marble and bronze mantel set wit - Lot 232
Louis XVI style three-piece marble and bronze mantel set with double patina, gilded and mordorée, including a clock and a pair of candelabras.
The clock features young children reading, surmounted by a torso-shaped urn decorated with bunches of fruit. The dial, above a pair of birds, is white enamelled, with blue Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes and chemin de fer, signed Richond Ft / Boul Montmartre n°17 in Paris. Back plate signed Richond Paris and numbered 275.
The candelabras with four arms of light and a fifth central light with putti in brown patina bronze on a cylindrical base in white marble and gilded bronze.
